International Landscape & Cityscape Photography Exhibition
Midwest Center for Photography / Deadline: 07/01/26
Through a range of photographic interpretations of various topographical regions, the Traversing Terrain exhibition will encompass various ways of describing and documenting the natural and man-made landscape. Images of the physical land and various interpreted aspects of the environment can be found where the city meets the country in our towns and out on the plains. Through the act of observing the landscape and cityscape we seek to capture the visual qualities of the physical terrain and intimate details of nature. Photographing to find one's connection to a particular environment, to experience various scenes of landscape and cityscape, and to simply explore while traversing and embracing the terrain. The works presented in this exhibition will represent what it means to examine the natural, the urban, and suburban landscape through the medium of photography.
Selected artists will have their work featured in the gallery and online.
