two-week silkscreen printing program in Puebla, Mexico
Arquetopia / Deadline: 10/31/26
Focused on political posters and the visual language of resistance. Grounded in Mexico's long histories of graphic activism, popular print traditions, and social movements, participants develop their own protest images through hands-on printing, critical discussions on art and power, and reflection on how images circulate in struggles for justice. The program connects material practice with anti-colonial perspectives, local histories, and contemporary forms of dissent, exploring how graphic art becomes a tool for visibility, solidarity, and collective resistance.
