The Hand Magazine is dedicated to all types of printmaking and hand-printed photography. Any artwork that incorporates any kind of printed media is welcome. This includes alternative and mixed processes, idiosyncratic techniques, and unique, experimental work.

Location

The Hand Magazine is created, printed, and distributed in Kansas City.

Fees

$15 for a single-issue subscription includes a copy of the magazine whether your work is selected for print or not (more outside the US to accommodate shipping)

Requirements

Evaluation Criteria

We look for artwork that is unique, creative, well-crafted, and compelling. We like things that are weird and things we haven't seen before. But we print a wide range of work because, above all, we love variety.
