The Hand at Fenix Arts

The Hand Magazine and Fenix Arts invite all visual artists to a juried exhibit of alternative photography and printmaking.
Work must be made in the last two years, and include analog processes as capture or print output, although digital intermediary steps may be engaged. Work may be either two or three-dimensional.

Eligibility

Open to all artists both nationally and internationally.

Requirements

Artworks should have been completed within the past 2 years.
Entry fee of $40 for up to 5 artworks. 3-D or installation artworks may include up to 3 views per artwork.
The entry fee is non-refundable and does not guarantee entry to the exhibit or publication in the Hand Magazine.

Awards

One artist will be selected for a two-week residency at Mount Sequoyah through Creative Spaces NWA in Fayetteville, Arkansas.

Considerations

Entries will be considered for BOTH The Hand at Fenix Arts exhibition AND publication in The Hand Magazine Issue 38.

Evaluation Criteria

Artwork is selected with consideration of purposeful craft, composition, and concept. Hand-printed printmaking and photography are preferred.
