The 6th National Juried Photography Exhibition is organized by The University of North Dakota's Department of Art & Design and seeks photographic imagery based on the interpretation of memory and myth. This exhibition also receives funding from the Myers Foundations. The Myers Art Gallery on the UND campus is hosting the exhibition.

This juried exhibition is open to national artists of all levels (professional, emerging, and students 18 years and over). There is no commission fee and all sale inquiries will be forwarded to the artists.
Please include completed entry form or an inventory sheet with titles, sizes and prices of entries, with your images, and required artist statement (1 page max) in Word/PDF format and Paypal transaction number. Images must be formatted and presented according to the directions below. Your images must be in an RGB profile. The largest dimension (width or height) should be 1280 pixels with the other dimension proportional. Your entry must be received in one complete email. Do not send multiple emails.
- All images must be saved at 72 ppi, 8 bit.
- Use a JPG compression of 8 when saving your images.
- Label with last name and entry# (i.e. Smith01.jpg)
- Images must be e-mailed to undphoto@gmail.com.

3 Honorable Mentions -- $50 each
Framing Specifications:
All photographs (unless mixed media) must be framed professionally with neutral frames and plexi-glass (no glass unless work is hand delivered) ready to hang w/D-ring style hangers attached to the frame. No Sawtooth hangers accepted. All photographs must be framed no larger than 26" x 30".
Delivery & Return of Work:
Artists bare sole responsibility for shipping to and from gallery for exhibition purposes. Work should be sent in a reusable container, securely packaged, clearly labeled and sent with a return shipping label prepaid either UPS/FedEx. No peanuts.
Liability:
University of North Dakota is not responsible for lost or damaged artworks in transit to or from or while on their premises.
Juror Tom Young is a photographer and professor of art emeritus at Greenfield Community College in Greenfield, MA. Although retired, he still teaches as a visiting artist and professor at Amherst College and at Massachusetts College of Art & Design. His photographs are included in more than 30 permanent collections, including the Amon Carter Museum, Bibliotheque Nationale de France, Center for Creative Photography, Corcoran Gallery of Art, George Eastman House International Museum of Art, to name a few. Young's photographs have appeared in more than 80 exhibitions worldwide.
