Summer Exhibition

Float Photo x Carrie Able Gallery   /   Deadline: 06/26/18

Float magazine in collaboration with the Carrie Able Gallery in Brooklyn NY, are accepting submissions until June 26th, 2018 for the upcoming summer exhibition at the gallery curated by Carrie Able's chief curator Damien Anger.

Damien Anger is an art historian and curator. He has worked in several galleries in Paris, France, and also as a curatorial assistant in museums. He completed a M.A. in contemporary art history at Sorbonne University in Paris and received a B.A. from Ecole du Louvre. His research is focused on Queer censorship in American Art from 1970 to 2000, but also in underground art scenes, social issues in post-modern art, the relationship between cultural crisis and art controversy, as well as post-conceptual Russian art.

We welcome submissions of available work (Please only submit works that are available for exhibition display and for sale) from emerging visual artists. Please submit 10 JPEG images to carrie.able.float@gmail.com Only information about the work itself is necessary, biographical information or CVs will not be considered. Work submitted in any other form may not be viewed.

Submission theme: Open. Show us your best work.

Submissions Deadline: June 26th 2018

Exhibition will take place in the beginning of August 2018. Specific details TBD.

Please note: we are accepting international and domestic submission yet artists are responsible for all shipping expenses and responsibilities. Work that is shipped to the gallery will have to have a pre-paid return shipping label included.
