stARTup Art Fair Houston is the contemporary art fair designed for artists, by artists.

stARTup Houston runs October 11-13, 2019 at the historic Hotel Icon, where authentic Texas charm meets contemporary luxury in the heart of downtown Houston. stARTup takes place concurrently with the Texas Contemporary gallery fair, 10 blocks away. Participating artists will have a fantastic opportunity to expose new work to a myriad of collectors, curators, gallery owners, art consultants, and writers who will be coming to the city for a weekend of contemporary art.

stARTup's mission is to provide a marketplace for artists to present and sell work on their own terms. All sales proceeds belong 100% to the artists.

Applications for stARTup Art Fair Houston will be accepted through July 28th, 2019. Those selected from the open application process will each take over a hotel room for the course of three days to present a solo show of their work.
