The SRO Photo Gallery at the Texas Tech University School of Art hosts an annual open call for six to eight exhibitions of still photographic artwork to be exhibited between August 2026 and May 2027. We will also be presenting four solo moving image exhibitions to be presented during the same academic year. Portfolio submissions will be reviewed by a committee consisting of the Digital & Narrative Arts faculty and students of the School of Art and the Landmark Arts staff.

Artist or Project Statement with Full Contact Information (Name, Telephone, website/Instagram, and Email Address).
Still Image Requirements: Make a PDF from a slide show containing the following information: 20 images sized at 2000 pixels on the long edge at 72 dpi. Include title, medium, dimensions, and year created of the artworks you propose to exhibit.
Moving Image Requirements: Links (VIMEO or YouTube) in body of email to four 2-5 minute video teasers from the same project to be displayed on four separate video monitors. Please include title, medium, and duration of each video. Moving images should be of works you intend to exhibit.

We seek portfolios that utilize lens-based and photo adjacent art in all styles, techniques, and aesthetic approaches which speak to the ever developing and shifting landscape of contemporary photographic art practice. Consistency in the work as well as creative vision is important in the selection process.
