The SOLO VI call is capped to 100 applications: photographers are therefore encouraged to apply early in order to have their work considered. The Solo VI call may close earlier than the October 3 deadline once 100 valid applications are received.
With 50+ years of photography & filmmaking experience under his belt, Danny expects to encounter a wide variety of works and genres as juror: don't be deterred to apply if your projects/ series aren't focused on street & documentary photography. As always the real challenge will reside in quality of execution, innovative envisioning and above all risk-taking as a photographer. Remember work submitted if picked will be exhibited and will thus represent you & your photography out there. You may enter selections/editions of different bodies of work, but try keeping your overall vocabulary as coherent & tight as possible.
