SIMILITUDE is a competitive international exhibition of works exploring the theme of the portrait. Works selected will represent some point of view relative to this theme.

Recognition matters. Throughout art history the ability of the artist to not only capture a likeness but also the character and spirit, if you will, of the subject has defined whole careers. With this in mind we offer this call to artists for works that address the portrait. All manner of interpretations, explorations, and machinations involving the portrait are welcome. Artists are encouraged to take a broadly creative view of the theme.

Fees

$40 for up to three entries submitted. $10 per each additional entry. Fees are non-refundable. Number of entries is unlimited. For the purposes of this process an 'entry' is an individual work of art, regardless of number of images used to represent it in this submission. Entry fee must be paid by U.S. check or money order made payable to MANIFEST, or by credit card via PayPal. Awards

ANNUAL CASH AWARD: The annual Manifest Grand Jury Prize will result in the awarding of one significant cash prize ($2500) to a single work selected as the 'best of the entire season'.
