CALL FOR ENTRY THEME | PORTFOLIO SHOWCASE 12

PORTFOLIO SHOWCASE 12 | Open Theme
Each submitted portfolio is evaluated as a cohesive body of work by the Juror. One artist will be selected to receive the $1,000 ShowCase Award and be offered a solo exhibition at C4FAP. Ten photographers will be chosen to have their 12 image portfolio published in an artist chapter in the Portfolio ShowCase 12 book, two images will be featured in a gallery exhibition and all 12 images are featured in an online exhibition complete with artist website links.



JUROR |Samantha Johnston

Samantha Johnston is the Executive Director and Curator of Colorado Photographic Arts Center. She has reviewed portfolios at Houston FotoFest, Review Santa Fe, PhotoPlus New York, Medium, and SPE and was a juror for Critical Mass and The Fence. She was named one of Colorado's Top 100 Creatives 3.0 by Westword.



ARTIST HONORS AND AWARDS:
 All 12 images will be included in an artist chapter in the Portfolio ShowCase 12 publication, two images will be featured in a gallery exhibition and all 12 in an online exhibition complete with artist website links. The Center provides professional installation images, event press release and social media promotions with an audience of 180,000+ followers internationally. All artists and friends are welcome to celebrate the exhibition with us at the Reception.



ShowCase Award: One artist will be awarded $1000 and be offered a solo exhibition with the Center for Fine Art Photography.

Portfolio ShowCase Group Exhibition: Two selected images from each artist will be exhibited at The Center for Fine Art Photography in the Portfolio ShowCase Group Exhibition.

IMMERSION SATURDAY:
 Join us for a one-on-one portfolio reviews with the Executive Director and a private portfolio share for the artists to show and discuss their work, receive feedback and professional development advice. Exhibiting artists are welcome to join for all or part of the Saturday events. Free for members, $40 for non-members.

MEMBERS | $59 for a 12 image portfolio. Membership can be purchased by logging into or creating your free Center account.

NON-MEMBERS | $69 for a 12 image portfolio.

ADDITIONAL PORTFOLIOS may be submitted.

ELIGIBILITY: Our calls for entry are open to all photographers, world-wide. The Center invites photographers working in all photographic mediums, digital, film, mixed and unique processes to participate.

EXHIBIT PRINTS: In order to be included, the artist must provide a professionally printed and presented image for gallery exhibition. The Center recognizes non-traditional works. To encourage participation by photographers internationally, we offer optional, production services. Additional details provided upon request.



ACCEPTANCE NOTICE: All submitting artists receive email notification with results. To ensure email delivery, subscribe to the Center through Constant Contact.
