Portfolio Exhibition

Light Leaked invites artists to submit to our Portfolio Exhibition. We are seeking completed and cohesive bodies of work for inclusion in the January Issue. All photographic and related processes are encouraged to apply.

Juror:
Dr. Terry Barrett is an American art critic, artist, and Professor Emeritus at Ohio State University. He has authored five books: Criticizing Photographs (4th ed.); Making Art: Form & Meaning; Why Is That Art?; Criticizing Art (2nd ed.); and Talking about Student Art. He edited the anthology Lessons for Teaching Art Criticism, published articles in Aesthetic Education, Afterimage, Art Education, Exposure, Camera-Lucida, Dialogue, Cultural Research in Art Education, New Advocate, New Art Examiner, Studies in Art Education, Teaching Artist Journal, Theory into Practice, Visual Arts Research, and many chapters in edited books. He is an art critic in education, consults museum education departments, juries exhibitions, and conducts workshops on studio critiques and writing.

Submission Guidelines:
This exhibition is FREE to enter. Submit a zip file containing 10-15 jpegs, 1000px on the longest side, sRBG color space to LLsubmission@gmail.com with the subject line Submission: Portfolio. Label images with the naming convention: Lastname_Firstname_ Portfolio001.jpg. Do NOT send more images than requested.

In the body of the email please include: your name, website, image titles, and medium.

Any incomplete submissions will not be considered.

Important Dates:
Submission Deadline: Friday, December 30, 2016 midnight eastern time
Acceptance emails will be sent between January 7
