Open Call for Video Art/Short Films

2 Post Cinema is a new neighborhood outdoor cinema in Houston, TX. We are launching our inaugural season November 2022 and are looking for video art and short films to curate into monthly public screenings. We are committed to showcasing contemporary film and video art created by underrepresented artists and filmmakers at all points in their careers, no entry fees, no resumes required.

Submissions are accepted through the Google form link below on a rolling basis and will be retained for future consideration. If your submission is curated into a screening, a notification email will be sent at that time. Please be mindful that the public nature of this open venue does not allow for the screening of any videos or films that would not be suitable for children due to violence, sexuality, language, etc. If you are unsure, we encourage you to submit anyway.

We guarantee that we will view every submission made, but due to the amount of submissions, we may only watch 3-5 minutes of a video or film. We recommend that if you submit a long video or film, that you list what time you would ideally want us to start viewing in the submission description area. If your video or film is password protected, please remember to include the password in the description.
