Art Room announces a call for entry for its inaugural juried exhibition, Now | Contemporary 2019. This exhibition invites accomplished curator, Claudia Zapata to act as juror, who will select a compelling group of artworks to be exhibited at Art Room's gallery space. All media—including oils, acrylics, watercolors, pastels, drawings, sculpture in any medium, collage, printmaking, photography—will be considered.

Eligibility

Open to multigenerational makers. All media—including oils, acrylics, watercolors, pastels, drawings, sculpture in any medium, collage, printmaking, photography—will be considered. Work must be no more than 60 inches in any direction, including the framing or mounting. The size given for works should be the framed size. Height must be given before width regardless of whether the work is a vertical or horizontal piece. The artwork may represent any subject matter. Accepted work must be suitably framed and ready for hanging. Works on paper must be framed under plexiglass or glass—plexiglass is preferred. Please respect these eligibility requirements.

Requirements

Please submit images with the following specifications:
• 72 ppi
• 800 pixels on the longest side
• No borders around the image
• JPEG file format

Label your image files with your last name and the title of the artwork—if it is a long title, you may use a keyword or abbreviation (i.e. Baker_Homeplace.tif).

Please include the following with your entry: Title, Medium, Scale (h x w inches), Date, Price
