This contest is an opportunity for up-and-coming photographers to gain exposure and connect with a wide variety of creative professionals.rnrnTheme: “New Beginnings” is to be understood as the theme for the contest entries, which can be applied literally, but contestants are also invited to approach this theme conceptually. The winning entry will be that which is judged to be the most visually appealing, original and self-explanatory. The winner will be notified within two weeks of the closing date of the competition.
First Prize: rnParticipation in the Free Range exhibition in London* (worth £500) from June 30th through July 4th and a feature on the University for the Creative Arts’ Free Range Exhibition website. An interview and feature will also be published on photomonitor, one of the UK’s leading online photography publications, giving our winner great exposure to a large and diverse audience while also providing them with a referenceable catalogue of their success for future use.rnrnSecond and Third Prizes: rnA feature on the University for the Creative Arts’ Free Range Exhibition website. rnBoth runners-up will also be featured in a feature piece on Photomonitor, one of the UK’s leading online photography publications, giving successful entrants great exposure to a large and diverse audience while also providing them with a referencable catalogue of their success for future use.
