No-Type / Deadline: 05/31/26
No-Type invites lens-based artists to submit to our open call for an individual artist monograph. We are seeking photographic projects of any subject, genre, or process. Submissions should present a cohesive and ambitious body of work that is ready to be developed into book form.
The selected artist will have a monograph published by No-Type, dedicated entirely to their work. All costs of editing, design, printing, and marketing will be covered. The selected artist will receive 20% of the total edition to sell and distribute at their discretion.
All submitted artists will be considered for additional opportunities, including inclusion in a special Editor's Choice issue of No-Type Magazine and features across our digital platforms. A shortlist of 6 artists will be selected for interviews to be published on our website.
$20
Submissions are open to lens-based artists who are at least 18 years of age. Both emerging
and established photographers from any country are eligible to apply.
No-Type is committed to showcasing a broad range of voices and lived experiences.
Photography is strongest when it reflects many perspectives, and we actively encourage
submissions from artists of all backgrounds, identities, abilities, and communities, especially
those who have been historically underrepresented in the arts.
