International Black & White Photography Exhibition
Midwest Center for Photography / Deadline: 06/01/25
From subtle low contrast to high key contrast in the range of values of a black and white photograph the Monochromatic exhibition will represent photographs of a variety of different light and subject matter. When a classic black and white photograph is crafted well the grey tones are so stunningly rich that a viewer wouldn't only not miss the color but revel in the absence of color. From traditional film and darkroom photography to the digital imaging medium we are seeking those outstanding monochromatic greyscale photographs in this upcoming exhibition representing the mood, drama and silence captured through the black and white medium of photography.
Selected artists will have their work featured in the gallery and online.
