The Cincinnati based non-profit arts organization and gallery, Manifest, invites visual artists to submit works of art that are about or depict the process of tuning, refining, or altering subjects, their contexts, or materials in order to achieve a different purpose or point. This concept is wide open to interpretation and application of the theme 'modified'. Artists should consider their available work through the lens of this thematic concept and decide for themselves the relevancy of the work to this open call.

This exhibit has no defined expectation for type or style of work to be considered or selected. Submissions can range from the most traditional to the most conceptual, abstract, or experimental of any media.

The annual Manifest Grand Jury Prize will result in the awarding of one significant cash prize ($2500) to a single work selected as the 'best of the entire season'.
