McMaster Gallery, the contemporary art gallery serving the University of South Carolina campus in Columbia, SC, is accepting proposals for exhibitions by artists working in all disciplines.
The McMaster Gallery welcomes exhibition proposals for new and existing work made by artists working in all disciplines and media. Located on the first floor of McMaster College, the home of the School of Visual Arts and Design, the McMaster Gallery serves as the central location for contemporary art on the University of South Carolina's downtown Columbia campus. McMaster Gallery seeks proposals for innovative and professional exhibitions that lead key conversations in contemporary art making, support curricular initiatives, and broaden student experience. At least three accepted exhibitions will take place in the planning period. Exhibition Proposals may be solo or group shows. A total budget of up to $2,500 per exhibition is offered to cover travel and accommodation reimbursement, visitor's fee, and/or other expenses, subject to budget approval.
