The Sarah Spurgeon Gallery at Central Washington University, located in Ellensburg, Washington, will host the biennial INTERSTATE juried exhibit. The exhibition is open to all media and subject matter; the artwork does not need to follow a particular theme. Proceeds from this national exhibition will support student scholarships in the CWU Department of Art + Design. The juror for the 2022 INTERSTATE exhibition is Faith Brower, the Haub Curator of Western Art at the Tacoma Art Museum in Tacoma, Washington.

Eligibility

The exhibit is open to artists over the age of 18 working in 2-dimensional, 3-dimensional, and video formats.

Awards

First place, $700; second place, $500; third place, $300; and three honorable mentions.

Evaluation Criteria
