Alternative, experimental and traditional photography process and practice

InPrint-Is invites artists to submit images for a juried exhibition and book publication - focusing on the creation of handmade prints using alternative, experimental, and traditional darkroom photographic processes. We are delighted to have Christina Z. Anderson as the 2015 Juror for InPrint-Is.

Christina will choose a maximum of 20 prints, or 4 artists (who have submitted 5 images each), to exhibit their works in a gallery show to be held in Sydney, Australia, in September, 2015. Christina will also choose a further 15 artists artworks to receive a honorable mentions. All the artists selected by Christina will also have their artworks featured in an online exhibition, and a book publication that will be published to coincide with the launch of the exhibition.

Eligibility

InPrint-Is is open to professional, emerging and student photographers over the age of 18 years.

Requirements

Only original artworks will be accepted, and must be created using alternative, experimental, and traditional photographic print making processes. Only original artwork will be accepted for the gallery exhibition. Please do not submit reproductions. Please ensure that you only submit artworks that use alternative, experimental, and traditional photographic processes and practice to InPrint-Is.com Artwork submissions may be created using contact digital negatives, positives and analogue based works. All submissions must be created by the artist/s making the submission. Collaborative artist submissions of artwork may be also be submitted.

Juried Gallery Show and Book Publication

Considerations

Each participating artist/s will retain the copyright and ownership of their work. By submitting your work to InPrint-Is, you give permission for your work to be published in digital and hard copy for the web and for the purpose of promoting the book and gallery show. Submission of artworks for judging indicates that you as the artist/s accept all of the conditions and terms associated with this InPrint-Is Event. Juror selection of images for the gallery show, honorable mentions and book publications is final. All artworks submitted for the gallery show, are either listed as for Sale, or Not for Sale. If sold, the artist will retain copyright in their work, but will transfer their ownership to the buyer of the artwork. Artists will be paid within 30 days of purchase of the print.
