International Abstract Photography Exhibition
Midwest Center for Photography / Deadline: 01/01/26
Throughout the elements of design approached with the photographic eye, we focus our cameras while exploring the visual elements of line, shape, texture, space, light and shadow. Discover interesting ways of looking at objects, places, and subjects to simply find abstraction in details and overview scenes. Finding similarities, repetition, continuation, proximity, closure and figure/ground relationships help us create compositions that are visually balanced. Purely looking through our cameras with a graphic visual eye to capture various design elements of what is in front of us, not having to think too critically but purely visually to convey innovative aesthetics. Let's look at exciting and interesting ways seeing design through the photographs presented in the Geometric Abstraction exhibition.
Selected artists will have their work featured in the exhibition and online.
