Filter Space Call for Exhibition Proposals

Filter Photo hosts an annual open call for proposals for the exhibition calendar at Filter Space, for two distinct gallery spaces.

All exhibition proposals should relate to photography, photographic materials, or lens-based artwork. However, this definition is purposefully open-ended—moving-image work, installations, and performances related to photography may all be included in proposals. Additionally, artists, curators, and collectives are all welcome to submit proposals.

Our goal is to attract a broad range of proposals that reflect the creative diversity of the contemporary photography community. Proposals will be reviewed by Filter Photo Staff, alongside an outside Exhibition Advisory Committee.

Important Dates
June 17th, 2026: Call for Exhibition Proposals Closes
July 2026: Exhibition Advisory Committee Reviews Proposals
August 2026: Selected Exhibitions Announced
2027–2028: Exhibitions Take Place
