Silver Eye Center for Photography / Deadline: 10/13/14
Silver Eye Center for Photography announces a Call for Entries for Fellowship 15, our international photography competition. Now in its 15th year, this competition recognizes both rising talent and established photographers from all corners of the globe and from the state of Pennsylvania.
This year's juror is Allison Grant, Assistant Curator, Museum of Contemporary Photography, Chicago, IL.
Deadline for submissions via Silver Eye's website (silvereye.org/fellowship15) is Monday, October 13, 2014, 11:59:59 pm EST.
$10 for current Silver Eye members at the $50 level and above, with membership valid through October 31, 2014 // $60 for submission + membership at the $50 level (save $5!) // $65 for non-Silver Eye members
All U.S. and international amateur and professional photographers, age 18 and older at the time of submission, may apply.
Silver Eye staff and their relatives, board members, current interns, and past Fellowship winners are not eligible to apply.
The submission you are entering is comprised of three individual items: 1) a one-page Artist's Statement in PDF format; 2) your biography or CV in PDF format, and 3) your work sample.
You may submit up to ten (10) images from a cohesive, exhibition-ready body of work created within the past three years. Or, if from an ongoing project, the portfolio must include images created within the past three years.
Submitted work may not have been previously exhibited at Silver Eye or in the Greater Pittsburgh region.
For the best image quality and fast upload, image files must be no larger than 1,500 pixels wide, and saved as a .JPG size 8.
For full submission guidelines and to submit your work, visit silvereye.org/fellowship15.
