The work of photography students emerging into the art world is how we picture the future. The Colorado Photographic Arts Center is having an open themed call for entry for current undergraduate and graduate students in photography. All capture types, subject matter, and photographic processes are eligible to submit. This show is your chance to demonstrate your talent and point of view!

Application notifications sent: October 16, 2020
Exhibition dates: November 27, 2020 - January 2, 2021
Opening reception: Friday, December 4, 2020 5-8pm

$10 for 3 images / early bird discount $5 for 3 images (until September 4, code is EARLYBIRD); $3 each additional image
Entry is open to regional and national artists, members and non-members of CPAC. All lens-based media are eligible, including but not limited to images made by film or video camera, scanner, screen-capture, digital camera, and any means of mobile photography.
Applicants must be current, undergraduate or graduate students enrolled at a post-secondary institution and not graduating before the end of the academic year 2020-2021. A copy of your current student schedule or student ID must be uploaded into Café or your entry will be disqualified or can be emailed to info@cpacphoto.org.

JUROR - Nate Larson is a contemporary artist and Chair of Photography at MICA / Maryland Institute College of Art in Baltimore. His projects have been widely shown across the US and internationally as well as featured in numerous publications and media outlets, including Wired, The Guardian, The Picture Show from NPR, Slate, CNN, Hyperallergic, Gizmodo, Buzzfeed News, Vice Magazine, the New York Times, Utne Reader, the BBC News Viewfinder, the British Journal of Photography, The Washington Post, and many others. His artwork is included in the permanent collections of the George Eastman Museum, the High Museum Atlanta, Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art, the Orlando Museum of Art, Portland Art Museum, the Museum of Fine Arts Houston, and the Museum of Contemporary Photography Chicago.
