MWCP will be featuring 20 emerging photographers for the EMERGE 2023 competition. This fellowship opportunity is geared toward photographers looking to launch their art careers through the exposure of exhibition. We are looking to give one $200 EMERGE Fellowship Award and exhibition opportunities to the 20 emerging photographers.

MWCP is seeking young emerging photographers creating fresh and exciting new pictures. We feel strongly about providing this exhibition opportunity to emerging photographers. Professionally preparing a series of work, entering to galleries within the stated guidelines of gallery submissions and through subsequently building an exhibition record is a major and essential aspect of building a career in art photography.

Open to all emerging photographers worldwide. All photographic media is welcome.

Selection will be based upon individual images submitted by each artist.

Selected artists will have their work featured in the exhibition and online. One recipient will be awarded the $200 EMERGE Fellowship Award, and receive one year artist representation by MWCP online.

Requirements

To enter: Submit .jpeg images to the gallery via email, and follow the online instructions found on our website at https://www.mwcponline.com/emerge-entry.html. Please note that there is not an image upload form and simply email .jpegs to the gallery email address.

Considerations

Each photograph will be considered based upon the merit of the individual images submitted by each artist. A brief artist statement is optional.
