AX3 - American Aperture Awards is an annual, international competition that recognizes and honors advances in contemporary photography. Each year, we seek innovative photography that possesses an uncommon vision. Now in our second year, our continued goal is to celebrate the most iconic photos taken by new and emerging talent, as well as professionals from around the world and award their photographic insights. Fifteen category winners will be selected this year.
AX3 will feature winning works in exhibitions at top institutions in the US.
$20 - $35
Anyone over the age of 18 is eligible to submit to the American Aperture Awards.
Files must meet the following specifications:
- Grayscale or RGB profile
- JPEG format
- Resolution of 72 dpi
- Longest dimension should not exceed 1280 pixels, with a minimum size of 200 pixels
- Digital file should not exceed 4 MB
- Layers must be flattened

9. Photos published in Fabrik Magazine and blog (viewed by collectors, galleries and curators throughout the world)
10. Photos published in The Annual, a new iPad/Android App showcasing the World's Best Photography
11. Invitation to participate on ArtCapitol.com, an online platform that promotes and sells art to thousands of collectors worldwide
12. Press release and newsletter announcements to over 65,000 collectors, galleries, art directors and advertising executives
13. Ongoing presence on the AX3 online gallery
Your photos will be reviewed by an esteemed panel of international judges from the worlds of photography, art, publishing, education, and cultural institutions.
