39th Annual McNeese National Works on Paper Exhibition

The Department of Visual Arts at McNeese State University in Lake Charles, LA invites artists to submit entries to the 39th Annual McNeese National Works on Paper Exhibition. The exhibition runs from March 26 - May 15, 2026. Entries must be received by February 14, 2026.
The juror for this year's exhibit is Nicole Donnelly, Executive Director, Morgan Art of Papermaking Conservatory, Cleveland, OH. $3,000 in purchase awards will be designated by the juror. Selected purchase award works will become a part of the McNeese State University Works on Paper Permanent Collection.
Work in any medium using paper as a component part is eligible. Artwork, including frame, should not exceed 40" in any dimension.

Eligibility

Open to all artists living in the United States. All artwork should be original and completed within the last two years.

Requirements

Artists may submit no more than three entries.

File format: JPEG or JPG
File dimensions: Minimum 1200 pixels on the longest side. File size under 5MB.

Awards

$3000 will be available for the purchase of works for the McNeese State University Works on Paper Permanent Collection.
