
Annual Juried Outdoor Exhibition — Call for Artists & Photographers

Embracing Our Differences invites artists and photographers worldwide to submit original work for its annual international juried outdoor exhibition. Featuring 50 billboard-size images displayed at multiple locations along Florida's Cultural Coast, the exhibition celebrates the richness and complexity of human experience. Artists are encouraged to explore themes of inclusivity, individuality, resilience, understanding, and our shared humanity through their work. Since 2004, the exhibition has welcomed more than 5.2 million visitors and served over 693,500 students through education programs. No photography or art experience level is required — students, amateurs, and professionals are all welcome.

Open to all artists and photographers worldwide — professionals, amateurs, and students (ages 13+; under 13 with parental/guardian consent). National and international submissions are encouraged. No prior exhibition experience required.
- Artwork must be HORIZONTAL orientation (wider than tall)
-Aspect ratio: 12.8" wide x 8.8" high (325.12mm x 223.52mm)
-Digital file: minimum 300 dpi, under 400MB
-Accepted formats: high-resolution digital image file
-File naming: "ArtworkTitle-ArtistName"
- Do not include the words "Embracing Our Differences" in the artwork or title
Awards $12,000 total in cash awards across two competitions:
Visual Art: $2,000 Best-in-Show Adult | $2,000 Best-in-Show Student (split with the student's school art or writing program) | $2,000 People's Choice (determined by exhibition visitors)
Quotation/Writing: $2,000 Best-in-Show Adult | $2,000 Best-in-Show Student (split with the student's school writing program) | $2,000 People's Choice (determined by exhibition visitors)
No limit on number of submissions. Previously submitted work is eligible for resubmission.
Submissions are judged by a five-member panel of art professionals based on artistic excellence and originality in reflecting the theme "Embracing Our Differences."
