Mary Virginia Swanson Selected for 2015 SPE Honored Educator Award
Mary Virginia Swanson has been selected by the SPE National Board of Directors to be the 2015 Honored Educator of the Society for Photographic Education.
Swanson will be recognized as the Society's Honored Educator at the 52nd SPE National Conference, Atmospheres: Climate, Equity and Community in Photography, to be held March 12 - 15, 2015 in New Orleans. The Honored Educator Award is presented as part of the programming at the national conference.
Swanson has been an active supporter of SPE events and programming over the years and it's a pleasure to honor her contributions with SPE's Honored Educator Award. We recognize her relentless advocating for professional development in the field of photography and providing mentorship and inspiration to countless individuals. We truly look forward to honoring Swanson at the conference.
