Flame: Fragments of Self Across Borders

I am Mozhdeh Moazenzadeh, an Iranian photographer, interdisciplinary artist, and educator pursuing an MFA in Photography + Integrated Media at Ohio University. My work explores the intersections of memory, embodiment, migration, and collective identity through photography, installation, performance, video, and collaborative practice. I hold an MA in Photography from the Art University of Tehran and have taught photography at universities in Iran and the United States. My work has been exhibited in Iran and the U.S., including at Praxis Photo Center and the Iranian Artists Forum. I am the recipient of the 2025 Peter Bunnell Scholarship at Ohio University.
