"Now Showing," The Process of Hoarding Light

Joshua J Adkins Sr. born in Denver, Co. I was adopted, found my birth parents 41 years later. I served as a Firefighter in the Montana and Colorado National Guard. I then transferred to the active Army and served as a Flight Medic on the Blackhawk Helicopter until my retirement. I was stationed in Kentucky, Korea, Hawaii and Germany where I retired. I had multiple combat/ non-combat deployments. I've been happily married for 18 years, I have two children ages 14 and 10. We live on a small family farm/ranch out side of Deadwood, SD. I'm currently using VA benefits to purse my BFA in Photography at Black Hills State University. I will be graduating in the Spring of 2020. I'm hoping to purse a MFA from a Low-Residency program. Most recently I presented a project at the University Research Symposium.
