Pablo Delano was born and raised in San Juan, Puerto Rico. He holds a B.F.A in painting from Temple University and an M.F.A in painting from Yale University. Throughout his career, his work has engaged the cultures of Caribbean and Latinx communities. He has received various commissions including from the New York City Department of Cultural Affairs and the Ellis Island Immigration Museum. He is the author of three books of photography. Currently he serves as Charles A. Dana Professor of Fine Arts at Trinity College in Hartford, CT, where he teaches courses in photography and studio art.
Dialogue and critique are important to the SPE mission.
