Kimber Chewning is a PhD Candidate specializing in photohistory and contemporary art at Boston University. She researches the ambiguities between selfhood and artistic "work" and how this is visually documented. She has worked for the BU Art Galleries, the Ringling Museum of Art, and the Institute of Contemporary Art/Boston.
Dialogue and critique are important to the SPE mission.
