"The Public and Private Spaces of Village Life in Maramures, Transylvania"
Kathleen Laraia McLaughlin is a mother, photographer, and teaches adjunct at LMU, AAU, and NYFA. Her first book, The Color of Hay: The Peasants of Maramures, was published last year and her work has appeared in LensWork Extended #95, B&W Magazine, and Rangefinder. She has been a recipient of a Fulbright Senior Scholarship, an IREX grant, and a Houston Center for Photography Fellowship.
Dialogue and critique are important to the SPE mission.
