Feagin believe photography, of all the visual mediums, has one of the closest connections to the stage. For her body of work "Clean" she has incorporate techniques gleaned from her theatre background. By applying this method, she has found resounding similarities between the camera and stage when constructing a narrative and more specifically character development. Feagin will briefly address the concept of method acting and chart similarities within her work and the work of contemporary artists who work in a similar manner.
Dialogue and critique are important to the SPE mission.
