Susan L. Burke serves as the lead lawyer in a lawsuit by the Abu Ghraib torture victims. The lawsuit challenges the actions by defense contractors whose employees directly participated in the torture and abuse of Iraqi prisoners. Susan represents the families of those persons killed by Blackwater mercenaries. When Susan travels to the Mideast to interview the Iraqi victims, she brings with her photographers and artists in an attempt to let others capture the essential humanity of the victims.
