The Portrait: Understanding Portrait Photography
Adrian College Department of Art & Design presents an extraordinary photography exhibition curated by Glenn Rand, The Portrait: Understanding Portrait Photography.
Portraits from 1840 through 2012 from photographers across the world, including Ansel Adams, Henri Cartier-Bresson, Edward S. Curtis, Yousef Karsh, Dorothea Lange, Nadar, Gordon Parks, Paul Strand, Edward Steichen, and James Van Der Zee.
Exhibition Dates: November 04 through December 31st, 2014.
Opening Reception: Thursday, November 13th, 6:30-8:30 pm with remarks
by curator Glenn Rand.
Location: In the Valade Gallery within the Shipman Library Complex. Adrian College, Adrian, Michigan.
