Merry Moor Winnett Exhibition, 2013

Merry Moor Winnett (1951-1994), a former SPE member, will be featured at High Point University (November 11- December 5, 2013) with 50 vintage photographs from the mid 1970s to 1994. Merry studied at Michigan State University and the University of South Florida before settling in Greensboro, North Carolina where she became known as the leading experimental photographer. Her signature images are composite prints made of multiple negatives with hand-coloring, stitching and collage. All of the photographs were made from film in a traditional darkroom.
