Captivated by Savannah's rich history, my series 'After Walker Evans - Savannah' pays homage to the renowned photographer. Inspired by Walker Evans' documentation of the city after the Great Depression, I sought to rephotograph the same architecture, revealing the enduring character of Savannah's buildings. Coming from a city often favoring modernization over historical preservation, I found Savannah's commitment intriguing.
