Gynecological Instruments
My series of Gynecological Instruments extends and problematizes the modernist archival work of Karl Blossfeldt. The instruments here are harsh and sterile and are presented to viewers as a typology study, similar to Bernd and Hilla Becher's photography. This series is part of an ongoing process of collecting and documenting vintage and modern gynecological instruments.
