Scott Hilton received his BA at the University of Nevada, Reno and his MFA at California State University, Fullerton. He is currently Senior Lecturer in Photography at the University of Texas at Arlington. His speciality is Alt Process photography, with an emphasis in Wet Collodion. His current work in progress (with SPE member Bryan Wing) is "Project Barbatype," a collaborative tintype documentary of beard and moustache competitors. He has exhibited his work in numerous solo and group shows across the US and will have an image published in the Fourth Edition of Christopher James' "The Book of Alternative Photographic Processes." He was formerly President and Member of 500X Gallery in Dallas, TX.
