Rueben Gonzales is an artist living in Arlington, TX and Professor of Digital Communication with the Savannah College of Art and Design. Prior to his appointment at SCAD, he taught fine art and art history at Texas Wesleyan University. Gonzales earned his BFA in 2008 from the University of Texas at Arlington and his MFA from Savannah College of Art and Design in 2019. Gonzales creates conceptual works that respond to the spiritual, religious, social and cultural relationship of humans as they exists within nature and within the time spent there.
