When I was nine years old, I lived for four months in Panama City Beach, FL, as a "Katrina Refugee," completely disengaged from the terror and chaos that would later become a driving force of my becoming an artist. Among the locals, we were long term residents in a tourist town during off-season. This series was shot about 11 years later when I returned as a sophomore in college on spring break with an expired roll of Kodak colour film and a toy camera.
Dialogue and critique are important to the SPE mission.
