I am most fascinated by the communicative aspect of art. I consider the forms and content in my work tools to incite emotions and provoke thoughts.
I came to the realization that by expanding my tool set to incorporate media beyond photography, my work becomes more versatile as a vehicle of communication. I therefore became a practitioner of interdisciplinary collaborations. By assuming the role of a collective’s leader, my vision guides collaborating artists of various media including sound art, other visual arts and performance, etc. to create art forms that did not exist before.
This conceptual development went hand-in-hand with my concern over our environmental future, which has been the main theme of my work. My artistic tools are honed to carry environmental messages with innovation and versatility. In additions, the use satire and humor in my work often gives surprising appeals to unsuspecting viewers.
