Elizabeth Albert is a photo-based artist who has exhibited in group shows throughout the United States since 1986. Albert is originally from Grand Rapids, MI and currently lives in Belmont, MA. She holds a B.F.A. from the University of Michigan, an M.F.A. in photography from Maryland Institute College of Art and a post-baccalaureate in teaching from Massachusetts College of Art and Design. Among the places Albert has exhibited are: The Photographic Resource Center, Danforth Museum, A.I.R. Gallery and Houston Center for Photography. In addition to being a practicing artist, Albert has taught photography at Rhode Island School of Design, School of the Museum of Fine Arts, Salem State College, Cushing Academy and The Winsor School
