Currently residing in Dallas Texas, Lauren E. Allen graduated from the University of North Texas in 2024 with a Masters of Fine Arts in Studio Art with a concentration in photography and Cum Laude from Texas Woman's University in 2014 with a concentration in photography.
Lauren's work is an exploration of the psychological aspects that influence our ideas of self. Utilizing abstracted photographic imagery and fiber, viewers are encouraged to reflect on their own conscious and unconscious identity. Their work has been included in exhibitions at the Deland Museum of Art (Deland, FL) Decode Gallery (Tucson, AZ) and Strata Gallery (Santa Fe, NM) among others. With solo exhibitions at The Jung Center (Houston, TX) and Cora Stafford Gallery (Denton, TX).
