I was born in the east coast but spent time in rural Arkansas on my grandparents farm. This time of exploration and freedom gave me a deep love and appreciation of land.
At the core of my studio practice is an exploration of photographs as material objects. Along with my concern for the state of the environment, my work also questions the photograph as information and the Romantic Ideologies that have been attached to landscape representations.
