about
I currently live and work in Harrisonburg, VA where I serve as Professor of Art, Photography Area Head, and Graduate Director of Studio Arts in the School of Art, Design, and Art History at James Madison University.
My practice centers around photography, including camera and scanner-based images, photo collage and montage, and installations of weathered photographs and objects-- and reiterations and re-combinations of photos of photos. My work speaks of memory, change and grief and questions notions of aesthetics and beauty.
