Ariel C. Wilson is a conceptual artist, photographer, and educator currently based in Salt Lake City, UT. Her work across media probes the transparency, subjectivity, and fluidity of the photographic image. She has exhibited work nationally and internationally including at the University of New Mexico Art Museum, 516 Arts, Colorado Photographic Arts Center, the Hallie Ford Museum of Art, the Center for Fine Art Photography, Image Ark Nepal, and in the Pingyao International Photography Festival. She has been the recipient of a Visual Artist Residency and Grant from Vermont Studio Center, a Beaumont Newhall Fellowship, and an International Artist Residency at Bikalpa Art Center (KTM, Nepal). She holds an MFA in Studio Art from the University of New Mexico and a BA in Studio Arts from Willamette University. Ariel has taught as Lecturer in Photography at Southern Methodist University and Visiting Assistant Professor of Photography at Marshall University.
